As I said earlier, I don't have much first-hand knowledge of my older siblings, and Saffron is no exception. What I do know is that my Dad said that Saffy, born Julie, was one of the happiest of my sisters when she was a child. Always one of the most adventurous, she traveled a lot and worked at many jobs when she was young, including as a truck driver, but married and settled down in Utah to raise a daughter a little younger than I and a son a little older.

Unfortunately, the man she married, Terry Bright, a used car salesman, betrayed and eventually abandoned her. She is now divorced and living back in her home town, Eugene, Oregon and is beginning a new life.

I have never met Saffron in person, at least that I can remember, nor have I met her children, my niece and nephew, but I hope to some day. In any case, I wish her all the best in her new life.
