Jubal is a pretty cool brother. Born in Eugene, Oregon in 1968, Jubal still lives in Oregon, but he comes to visit us sometimes. He is a harmonica player, a very good one, and his influences range from Folk to R & B music. Whenever I go to see my relatives in Oregon, I feel out of place among most of them. Not when Jubal's around though. He likes the stuff I like, and has a great sense of humor. Besides Miranda and me, he's one of the three bachelors among our family. Whenever I talk to him, he talks a lot about his travels and his feelings toward our huge family. Like most of my brothers and sisters, I've got some bad memories of Jubal, but most have been good.

Jubal also is a snowboard hot-dogger. This means he can do all sorts of tricks with a snowboard. He uses the slopes in Oregon, Washington and Idaho, spending much of the season away from Eugene. When he is back in Eugene, he does odd jobs.

He owns some land in Idaho and knows a lot about land speculation in that part of the country. He likes spending part of the year in the mountains and part in the city.
