The Dream Machine --- The Imagination of the World Wide Web |
After the failures of his Hollywood period, the debacle High Spirits and the Robert De Niro vehicle We're No Angels, Jordan went back to England to produce his own creative work. In 1992, he returned to prominence with the mysterious The Crying Game. Notorious for it's well-kept secret, it was nominated for six Academy Awards and won a Oscar for Jordan's screenplay. His recent films include the adaptation of Anne Rice's vampire novel, Interview With the Vampire (1994) and the epic-scale biopic, Michael Collins (1996), about the infamous IRA founder.
