Poem 5

by

Kelly Zee

to never hold true love,
forces hatred to the soul,
and never feeling welcomed,
pushes you from the whole,
and never realizing life,
makes you closer to death,
and once my time is ended,
then i will have my rest.

Blood Red

by

Kelly Zee

Search through the sun
And drift to the moon
Blanketed with fear and wonder
Darkness shall be coming soon

Set in a field of roses
Deepest shade, blood red
Rejection from society
Has left you with the dead

Reality drifts with the winds of time
Images come and go
To survive in black and white
As dead future world comes slow

Shadows' Eyes

by

Kelly Zee

a face so pale, so faded out
skin as soft as silk
bloody lips, on this white plane
pastel color of mothers' milk

eyes so dark, so beautiful
so deep, as ebony nights
they glisten in the light of the moon
black lost in a sea of white

portrait of a vampire's life
beautifully blended light
perfect in most every way
and wondering through the night

staring in her eyes so deep
lost inside this void
eyes that shadow nothingness
in her hand, she holds the world

Wasted

by

Kelly Zee

With deep screams of pain
She threw her hatred toward the moon...
A redness dripped over her fingers,
AS she stood swallowed up by tears,
It dripped to a puddle at her feet...
The Moon, on a starless night, was her focus...
Red glistened in the light.
Thinking back on what had been,
Only dim memories remained.
Remnants of horrid torture consumed her mind
And all that consumed by pain...
In her many days of living,
Near no love was ever shown...
And all she had was taken away.
Now, she's useless to this world...
The blade dropped from her shaking hands
Into the pool of red.
Her screams died to small whimpers
As she crumbled to the ground...
Was long before all her suffering ended
Life dripped so slow from her vein...
Now all that is left to see
Is a wasted child, lying in her own blood
On such a gorgeous night,
In such beautiful moon light...
It was the only escape from this life she hated to live,
The empty reality of our world,
And the torture they forced upon her and all around...

She lived, only to die...

Only Fear

by

Kelly Zee

A child in the crowd
Screams out to be heard
She wants to know the world
And all there is to learn

Eternity passing by
It's leaving her behind
>From the shadows the serpent slides
As she steps toward the light

Her goal shines in the sun's light
Yet, still hidden inside the rose
All she fears is in methodical nights, for
So quickly future's door may close

As all ends so sudden
Life drains from her vein
Her goal fades in the darkness
All is consumed by empty pain

The Glitter Fairy

by

Kelly Zee

in a world filled up with nothing
covered with sin and guilt
there sits a glitter fairy
wrapped in ebony silk

the colors of the world
have never touched her soul
the only things she's ever seen
is the black that fills her, whole

whenever the sun shines brightly
in this hellishly deranged place
she wishes that it would shine on her
shimmer down to her face

but that black vale of darkness
holds out that great light
it wont show her the beauty of the day
she only sees at night

Real Reasons

by

Kelly Zee

we seek this sad world for a purpose
we drift through this life in a daze
searching for one thing to make life worth living
and that one thing is still lost in the haze
and no one ever said this was easy
to get through life and it's pain
yet through all of our suffering
our world will still greatly gain -
our love for life, renewed
our passion for truth, set free
the mean of life, relearned
and never again forgotten
then we'll find our real reason to be

People's Hero

by

Kelly Zee

everyone crowds around you
just to get a glimpse
you're known to be the peoples' hero
they all want a piece of you
to be like you in every way
and only an exceptional few
could ever see past the fake
past all of the glam and the glitter
past the person you've shown to the crowds
and look directly into the eyes
of the real personality hidden inside

To Love Life

by

Kelly Zee

Bred to die
Obey rules
Never leave that solitude
Look like them
Know what to be
Follow it
Live in Conformity
In this world of nothingness
This is how we've been told to be

Future Rose

by

Kelly Zee

Flower in the garden
Beautiful shade of pink
Pure image of undying love
Holds the heart
So not to sink

Flower grows and flourishes
Color deepens slow
Becomes the shadow of life
When blood begins to flow

Pretty bleeding flower
Coloring the world
Soon, emotions freed,
You'll all come to see
Flower's ending this kingdom
That's coming to be
