Different Texture

by

Peter A. White

My sweet, approaching zenith,
let your cold eyes embrace me
rape me of responsibility
pulling down dreams as we go

erace me

Strange words unravel from your cryptic tongue
in formless, impossible geometry
You embraced my mind with thick
muffled kisses
alien fingers sliding lethargic
across my smooth naked stomach
She stood before the dawn with black angel wings.

Time is an abstract consept
within the ancient halls
of our lazy fabrication
multitudes race onward all around us
unaware of the worlds weve created
and devoured
Fucking for our place within the scheam of chaos
The communion of creation...
i hope you find a nightmare in me.
Back in the wastland
there are only symboles left to guide us.

Tales of urban valor

by

Peter A. White

Only time will tell
Tales of urban valor.
He hooked em up real good, man
in the honeycomb of the city, yah.
Nameless ghost faces peek out from
vacent eye-socket windows
stray cats groan and spit,
real cheep, man.

Window Pain ( parts 1,2, and 3. )

I'm going away.
Dont try to follow me,
dont even think of trying to make me stay
I'm leaving today.
No time for goodbye
Or to question why
My blue eyes have turned grey
and they're too cold to cry.
It's winter in my soul
and i don't even care
Now its time for me to go
It dosen't matter where
And it wouldent make a difference any way,
My hearts grown numb
I'm going away.

The story softly ascends to the sky
on the wings of a neon dragon fly
As the masses await
for the moon to descend
Till the twilights dawning
calls them back again
We all slip through the fingers of time like sand
which buries all things
Still i don't understand
why i cant remember the last time i laughed
Or cried
or when innocence died
So i stair out my window
and wait for a sign.

i awoke with the twilight in my eye
A lush violet shroud over the azure sky.
i felt like crying and i didn't know why
Its funny
when neglected
how dreams seem to die.

The vast reassesses of my dispare held no boundary
So forth i gathered my scatterd forces and struck out for the dessert
Riding upon a ultraviolet horse who answered to the name
" Resolve. "
And we pressed onward for seven nights to search for the dawn
Through the charred formless monoliths.
My name is " Desolation. "
We followed a dying star
Until Resolve could hold out no longer
and i was forced to burry her beneath the petrified skeleton
of a twisted oak tree.
Lost was i.
Deep within the maelstrom of time
Stranded in a barren wastland of uncertenty
Whispers of hopelessness reverberating throught my decaying
body
Crying out for redemption
with no sound forthcoming from my cracked, salt encrusted
lips
And as the dawn finally arose
for the final time
the suns rays past right through me
Am i nothing more than a window?

saw you look in my eyes and turn away
Diden't even catch your name
through stained glass eyes i see your pain
You look at mine, know im insane.
i thought i saw you look again
In my eyes of icy blue
never thought it could be true
Maby what you see in me is you.

Just like. . .

by

Peter A. White

Just like winters cold kiss
Just like insane summer
Just how the seas shall swell
Just a quick glimps of Hell
Just as we drift into sleep
Secure with the Dreams we keep
Just as the sun shall set
Just like the onset of a fever
Just like that soft caress
When i said goodbye
Just how life finds a way
Right before it dies.

Sea hawk, you are flying free
You are where i want to be
Raven, you are dressed for death
a final gasp
Baby's breath
Sparrow, you're my only friend
Upon your flight
Where does it end.
