Flat morning
sprawls, tingeing
the horizon
in an opaque wash
of gray.
Muted shapes
merge into
hapless visions
of doubt.
Secrets smirk.
Deceit lingers.
Certitude
wanders aimlessly.
Mist
cripples clarity.
Fog fingers
fondle and flirt.
No sun.
