Rain Beat

by

Whilhelmina

I want to dance to the rhythem of the rain,
Showing my love and relieving my pain.
I want to scream to the azure sky,
Soak in God's tears and wash away mine.
I love the rain when all is still,
I here it's song ready to kill.
A song crashing in the thunderous sky,
Singing to me as I stand and cry.
The rain is steady in it's pounding beat,
Coming down hard upon the street.
Then once it's done I kneel and pray,
For that very rhythem to come back my way.
