What you don't know can't hurt you, At least that's what they say.
Idon't believe that anymore,
I've been hurt in too many ways.

Left alone by strangers;
Tormented by my friends;
It just goes on and on,
In a list that never ends.

Is it all my fault?
What is wrong with me?
Is it that I'm too ugly?
Or something that's unseen?

I've tried to be good.
I've done my very best.
But I guess I'm just too stupid;
I just don't pass the test.

Maybe they'll understand,
When I'm dead and gone.
Maybe I've been right,
And they've been wrong all along.

Wondering

by

Brenda Walker

The waiting and wondering,
It's killing me.
Do we go or do we stay?
Let's wait and see.

Day by day
Week by week
Just imaging the future
And going without sleep.

If we leave,
Who will be there?
To talk to, to flirt with,
Like all my friends here?

He promised we'd stay
For the rest of high school.
He lied to me.
He broke all the rules.
