Actualization

by

Nicholas M. Waldow

The essence of man is now one of conformity down a path of ignorance.
Man does not better himself;
Nor endorse his individual traits,
Nor become one with knowledge and nature; corresponding.
On the other side of the leaf,
Comes tales of enlightenment through escalation.
A rise to the top, an immediate scale to the summit;
But there will be no pot of gold at the end of this voyage,
Yet rewards of paper and plastic.

With individualism follows the embodiment of increasing knowledge.
One may say ‘What can a single individual do?’
I may respond ‘Collaborate, expand, and celebrate.’
concussion

While fingers point in belittlement at I,
I regret to inform you,
Cranium and helmet are straight.
Not to believe in towers,
But few have higher elevations.
Power is not the true measurement.
But knowledge.
Elevate-tional Knowledge,
Alleviate knowledge?

Has relevance failed to suffice?
Clear as crystallization of ionic molecules,
In the eyes of few.
Few radicals remain;
Maintain;re.

Industrialization

by

Nicholas M. Waldow

Industry has reformed to wires and complex machinery;
As wires strangle, and complexity baffles
"SIMPLIFICATION"
In hearing’s distance of becoming an oxymoron.
And striking distance from miscommunication
Alters neutral mindsets.
Positive sides of industrialization are relevant;
And negative ones opaque in nature.
Universal nature was once the raw elements,
Now is the man-made, society dismantling, advances.
Pollutants;
In the raw element of flowing life.
Downsizing;
Of the occurring living things.
And punishment;
To the especially undeserving

Foundationalism

by

Nicholas M. Waldow

To find the true connotation of purpose;
One must dig to the nutrients of foundation.
There in the earth lies the true meaning.
"SIMPLICITY"
Basic knowledge of justice;
Justice does not rotate on the axis of reign,
Nor does it ride on the luxury of power.
Solely the common sense of indicative reason.
To accept connotations as validity,
Is the true meaning of purpose.

Enlightenment of Color

by

Nicholas M. Waldow

I live a life of black and white
Infinite orchards of nothingness
As I venture through this vast nothingness
I am not surprised,
nor delighted to find a foot short,
of purgatory
Among this orchard I found a prism
And perspective along with the enlightenment of color were relevant.
As colors fulfilled my thoughts, I noticed the true difference between something, and nothing.

Trueness of Bare Necessities

by

Nicholas M. Waldow

I wish to retire from society
I wish to live off the labor of my hands
In solitude, reflection, and inner peace.
I wish not to fuel the fire of deceit
I wish not to encourage the wrong-doings of power and tyranny
Govern thyself, when thyself is prepared.
If self-reliance were taught, hell, even encouraged
The possibilities of extension would be endless
When one relies on society, one relies upon false hopes
When Prometheus allotted traits, one necessity was left out
SELF-REFLECTION
Depending upon the ideas at hand, one may find true escape
But I argue, that man has no wish to escape the binding shackles
To undo the carnage,
I now doubt the validity of epiphanies and revelations
Dumbfounded and ignorant the powerful man marches on.
When shall we stop carving this path, when will we find redemption
When shall we dam the waters of faux imprisonment

External damnation
Damn Nation!

Underlying Deceit

by

Nicholas M. Waldow

Should the hand that feeds, also deceive?
Should the resource that supplies wither away?
Could purpose extend beyond the clouds?
Could pure life be the true meaning of life?
Where does one get the temptation to dream?
Would man’s first thought be, this is it?
Oh but of course, the idea of being content has not become extinct
For to become extinct one must exist first
When your faith fails, what shall be your support?
Your ignorance of true intelligence has been shielded
By the idea of a universal father
See lights, hear sounds, feel reality.
