Invisible Man

by

Matthew Eduardo Vega

Invisible Man
Lying morbidly on the desolate street,
Creature of ill-fate underneath ignorant feet,
Surviving through fear of dying
Living in a world crying and trying.

Walking through the dark city,
Accompanied by no one but pity,
Walking through these years,
Living with nothing else but fears.

No one sees you, No one can
No one can see you Invisible man.
No one can see your worldly place,
All that you are is empty space.

‘Cause we are all blind.
Watching with our false eyes,
Believing our false truths and cancerous lies,
Infecting, spreading, and destroying reality,
Replacing our actuality with dangerous fantansy.

Invisible Man
You live among the shadows of truth,
Having never left the innocence of youth,
You see the world without deception,
The world has not tainted your perception.

You are free from fate and destiny,
Free from the cause and effect of eternity,
Free from restrictions and limitations,
Free from trivial complications.

Save us from ourselves.

‘Cause we are all blind.
Watching with our false eyes,
Believing our false truths and cancerous lies,
Infecting, spreading, and destroying reality,
Replacing our actuality with dangerous fantansy.
