So you think you can run off with my heart
to leave and never start
to cry and give emotion
to live without devotion
to have
and not hold
to be
and not to scold
to live
and not to die
to give
and not try
to lie and deceive
to be the one I need
to give and not forget
to win and have a bet
to go through some things
to be the one in vein
to propose in a way
to say the things you say
for me to act like I don’t care
for you to not always be there
for me to cry in your face
for you to leave without a trace
to wonder about our love
to look at the heavens above
to pray to my angels
so they give me reason
to not be the one Im all your pleasing
so let this be a lesson to you
I don’t need your love to follow through
