This girl was legendary only
I didn’t know
what she was dreaming

I got to see her metamorphous
I could see the in between,
and the scars

I could smell something godlike and fearless
But I did not trust
my senses-(the dope smeared windows)

she knew all about the skeleton death man following me
she wanted me
the black hole in the heart on my sleeve

the snake eye
the jewel eye
the other thing she said

I was searching for the door beneath my shadow
Looking for poisons, elegance, an enormous moment worth freezing

I saw
my she
saw me
it pure

---I was afraid.

There is regret

a pause,

Regret.
