So may times I've tried to make a smile
Appear apon your rosey lips.
Even for a little while
And allas, it's not in vain.

I wonder throughout the day,
When I will be blessed enough
To see you smile and say
"Thank you for the laugh!"

Someday I know you'll see
Why I try so hard,
And how much you mean to me
And how much I love you

You are my only mother,
For noone could take your place.
For there is no other,
That i would really need.

The stars in heavin look
And see what you've become
They read us like a book,
And gave me first prize

I now know I've won
The greatest gift on earth
And when this poem is done,
You'll know that you're the best!
