Would You Still Love Me

by

Richard James Swartz

Romans-8:37-39
If My legs and feet
would not work anymore,
And if I should lose
My hair,
Would You still love Me?
If I did not become the
perfect Person you wanted
Me to be,
And if I became blind
and deaf and lost
all My strength,
Would You still love Me?
Yes said the Lord for
You are My child and
I love You,
And there is nothing in this
world that would keep Me
from You...

The Wings of a Faithful Heart

by

Richard James Swartz

As I come out of my shell,
And I begin to flutter my wings
With the sounds of love,
I begin to fly with the soft sound of prayer--
With the strong hands of God
Which hold me high.

And as my wings are touched with
The richness of love,
I am encouraged to try to fly.

And as my wings get stronger and stronger
I'm willing to fly higher and higher--

With every beat of my heart.
So then my love grows deeper and
Deeper within my faithful
Wings.

A Puppet on a String

by

Richard James Swartz

Within this Life of
mine I could not
be a puppet on
String,

And within this
body of mine
I could not have
a make believe heart,

that only would say
I love you only now
and then,

and my every move would
be made by someone else
and I could not make choices
for my Self,

I would be without life
and I would not know
right from wrong,

For I Could Not Be a
Puppet on a String.

Only one love Only one God

by

Richard James Swartz

Only one love
only one God in
all the world,

And nothing could
keep us from
someone so good,

from as far as the eyes
can see and down to
depth of the ocean,

only one love,
only one God
in all the world.

Peace

by

Richard James Swartz

Peace can mean quiet
Peace can mean love
For let America have peace

Peace can mean friends
Peace can mean thanks
Peace can mean no wars no more

For peace we can be "free"
Let the world have peace forever more

Sad Side of Life

by

Richard James Swartz

When I have been beaten
and bruised and my
arms have been broken

and my clothes have
been torn in two

and there seems to be
no feeling of love... and

I can not find the
good in me amd all hope
seem all but gone...

And the feeling of freedom
seems so far away

I ask you to help me
to walk away from this
thing Called abuse

No One Would like to be in my shoes.

And The Two Shall Become As One

by

Richard James Swartz

as man walk with
God in Garden Green,

and as the trees with
there leaves and the
feather like soft grass,

under his feet
and as he took every
step, Reminded him,

Of The Love he
had for him,

But God said why?
Should Man Be Alone
In a world like this.

Where Grace and love
gose far beyound the
eyes can see,

for man should have
a friend to have and
to hold to love and to
cheeresh,

for this day
I married my best
friend,

for it is God who Gave her
to me for she shall be call
women,

it is when a man leave his father
and the women leaves her Mother,

and the two shall become as one
from this day forward to love and
hold for richer for poorer in sickness,

and in good health untill death do us
part.

and the two shall become as one

God word stand forever

by

Richard James Swartz

In the days of life
As the sun comes up
And the sun goes down

Season comes and seasons go
From winter to spring
To summer and fall

There one thing that remains the same
God’s word stands forever
And if you have put your trust in him

And Love the Lord with all your heart and soul
And Love your neighbors as your self

Then you shall find your rest in Heaven’s Home

Mystery Love

by

Richard James Swartz

She doesn't know she's my myster Lover
I can never show That I get Enough of Her
myster Love...........

I see Her in My Dreams, Her Face Is So Clear
She seems so near, I Call Her Name
She Can't hear,

My Heart is closed, she has the key
to set me free

And now I must go But she'll Never Know
How Much I miss her..........

I wish she understood but her love can't
comperehend.
The Way I Love Her All along

As The Years pass By My Love For Her Grow Stronger....I Often Wonder If She ever Knew.

My Heart Is Closed, She Lost the Key to
Set me Free!

I relly Wish She Understood, But Oh How
Much I Miss Her.

I will Remember The Dream I had of
My Mystery Love.

Sister Are

by

Richard James Swartz

In all a sister can be a Friend
For she can bring out the best in you,

What a wonderful Person she is
with all the Love she has to give,

with all the Grace that she has
what a Friend she can be,

A Sister can brighten up your day
when you are blue, she can even rejoice
in all the days of your life.
Song of Solomon 4: 9 & 10

Memories on the Road

by

Richard James Swartz

As I walk along the Road
With My Friend, as the
Words roll of his lips,

My Heart Began to be warmed
By the tender words that he spoke
As we walked a little more down the Road
I felt as if I had know him all a long,

But as we drew closer to the end of our Journey
I begin to feel the Holy Spirit descend upon me,

The day was almost over and the Journey was long
And my feet were dusty and dirty and I was Hungry
And as we came into this Place as he broke the bread

And my eyes were open and then he was not there
Could it be true that my friend and Brother had risen
From the dead the one who died on the cross for me.

Luke 24:13 - 32

A Poem for Garth Brooks

by

Richard James Swartz

On a dark and cold November night a singer songwriter
Came to us and pour out his heart and mind
With every word and melody,

With every beat of the drum and every key played
Brings us down on our knees and with every heart
Leaping for joy and waiting to hear more

He tells of stories of dreams and hopes
Takes us on a Journey no other man has done
With the scrams and cheers on a one night stand

He reminds us that if tomorrow never comes
and tells us of a Dance that we share
With all the love and devotion comes from the heart of only one man

Born with a gift and talented as he to a man name Garth Brooks
We are dearly grateful we your fans would never be able to repay

For all that we have heard and seen

Thanks for the music and memories
Thanks for The Dance we truly do share

we shall be free....
