what's left ??

Steve

let me paint a hauntingly beautiful picture of a sunset
dip this brush into the paint with no regret
and contemplate on how the stars fell when you and i first met
regardless of why you tried i cried on the day you left my soul died
buried under a million ashes hoping that somday this pain will subside
true love is gone because it has been murdered
the motive was trying to take things a step further
so i lay hear eyes wide open but still dreaming feels like i have demons in the back of my brain screaming
you have ripped me apart from the start and now your leaving
i hope that youve had your fun
leaving me this burden that weighs a ton
i would rather go blind by staring at the sun
realize now that the damage has been done
