within me like hot springs is now stilled.

Calm.... peace comes quietly,
covering me with wings of warmth,
as a blanket.

reincarnation is a dream, a fantasy,
a wish, or hope.

We do live several lives......
even in this One.

Winter

The bare branches of the trees, black against
the somber blue grey of the sky...

Angling haywire like sticks stuck in
a twilight zone, suspended,... splayed.

Naked, the branches have lost their clothing... the green
refined finery of spring, the drooping dowdy laden heat
of summer... the sassy vibrant brassiness of fall...

Branches stripped. It is winter.

Salsa Blanca

Latin Jazz rhythms flowing
hot, cookin' to a mellow groove.

The soul sound comin' straight
from the heart... movin' the body.

The timbales are sleek,
setting the body to dancing,
bouncing...swaying.... colors, festive.

Sounds so tangy.. in this lanquid cool
space, the music is warming me up.
