Here I am standing once again
Silent a the moon but as loud as the wind
Here I am waiting for this dismal world
To crash down around me

Here I am again silent but in a different
Way not quite like before but still silent
Here I am standing waiting for something
To wake me from this trance

Here I am waiting for the light of day
Here I am waiting for the dark of night
Once again silent

Here I am wondering if this madness will
Never end
Here I am but the silence has ended
I hear the great speakers of the 20-century
John Kennedy, Martin Luther King jr. and many others

Here I am the great noise is starting to make
My brain throb with pain

Here I am once again in silence
