What if...

Words cannot describe these days of our lives
Living in lies
Pouring emotions on paper, surviving the times
What if you awoke tomorrow
In a new world order
New laws to follow
Full meals in pills to swallow
All religions discarded
Any visions disregarded
All territory uncharted
What if the world restarted?
And the dead arose from the ground under
When I let my mind wander I can't help but wonder.

We're the last of a dying breed
Picure a wilted carnation with a rotten seed
Next to the tombstone of our fate; guaranteed
Too many men before us who gave into their greed
Left us with this ravaged Earth, to salvage it's remaining worth
Is it all part of God's plan, that we can't understand
Most conceive the world as too much and wonder
I see the bigger picture, I feel so outnumbered
An entrepreneur of psychology
New generations, new technology
New visions, new philosophies
Changes in geology
Changes in astrology
Deceiving mother Earth. No apology!

Here's a story about how life went down
The "little chicago" is my hometown
I'll never forget the time I was 5
Lost my mother and pet dog in the same day, no lie
Wrote my first poem when I was 6, I learned quick
Acted in my first movie when I was 7
Wrote my first song when I was 11
Fighing became a hobby, second to sports
Countless throwdowns on the basketball courts
Through the toughest times I've survived
Here I stand now going on 25
No matter what they do they'll never take me alive
My strive for success drives me none the less
I've finally arrived at the door of greatness.

Facts of Life

Eat or be eaten, Beat or be beatin
Defeat or be defeated, Cheat don't be cheated
Get Up when you fall,
Walk fluent, Walk tall
To a giant this world is small
We've been accomplished since Colombus couldn't work a compass
The key to success sometimes lie in a miss
My thoughts get deeper as I enter the abyss
Past the brain cell graveyard
To the thoughts of other men's sins
The Indian saved the pilgrim
In return the pilgrim killed them
They called it Thanksgiving
I call it a holiday in hellday
We were once the patriots
Now home is where the hatred is.
Tell me what flag this is!
