I love you baby
but I have to let you go
and even though it hurts inside
my feelings, I can't show

For you have found another
and as for me, I have too
but my feelings for you haven't changed
they are still very true

He knows that I still love you
the new man, I had met
and he still treats me right
and when I am with him, he makes me forget

when I have time to myself
I always think of your tender face
I really want you to hold me
in your tight and warm embrace

But these feelings I have, can't live
they must drown in sorrowful tears
and the pain will soon pass by
as we overcome the years

so goodbye my special friend
try not to look back on today
and even though we had our fights
