Sometimes you just got to run away,
So you can see who will come after you.
Sometimes you got to talk quieter,
Just to see who is listening.
Sometimes you got to step up in a fight,
But only to see who is standing at your side.
Sometimes you have to make a wrong decision,
Only to see who is there to help you fix it.
Sometimes you got to let go of the one you love,
Just to see if they will come back.
