Untitled

by

Timothy M. Sassaman

Your soul gives me breath, just like the air,
For you, its been all my life I've had to wait,
I've seen a lot of women in my day, but for you only do I care.
Your voice is the sweetest I've had occasion to hear,
Your hair so soft, your lips so dear.
Your beauty is unsurpassed by even the finest flower,
And I think of you, every day, every week, every hour.
No matter where in the world my body doth roam,
My heart, with you is always home.
You will be my master, and I your slave,
Until I shall meet the cold, dark grave.
My love for you is more vast than the largest sea,
In life, in death, with you I shall forever be.
I am the ocean and you are my shore,
Without you my heart shall beat no more.

Your Not Here

by

Timothy M. Sassaman

My heart sinks into great depths,
Your not here.
My eyes shed many tears,
Your not here.
Sadness, Darkness, Despair,
Your not here.
Woe is me,
Darling, your not here.

Mr. Sand Man

by

Timothy M. Sassaman

Tell me your wish and paddle my magical stream,
I will make your wish a dream,
Don't be afraid, you've nothing to fear,
I will make the dream a reality dear,
If your lost and can't find your way,
tell me your wish and i'll wisk you away,
if you think your wish is hard to find,
Clear your thoughts from your mind,
Invision the ocean, listen to the roar,
and away I'll take you to a far-off shore.

Bitter Cold

by

Timothy M. Sassaman

As I walk out in this bitter cold,
The thought of you is warming my heart.
It keeps me comforted while we are a part.
Your beauty is so great, I can't comprehend,
But I know that we're a page in God's master plan.
Without you, I'd never be whole.
Becca, you are my heart and my soul.
Last night I was on my knees. I just had to pray,
That I could see you again one day.

Delusions on a Couch

by

Timothy M. Sassaman

Oscillating oscillators keeping it cool
Lying naked and sprauled out on that crazy couch, you start to drool
You enter that realm of vast illusions
Your mind is filled with dastardly delusions
She becomes clear, the object of your deepest desire
Dancing gracefully like the flame in a fire
You reach out your heart to hold her near
With a soft carress of her cheek, you wipe away each tear
Pontificating for what reason, why does she weap
A place for her within your soul you will always keep
Her body, her smile, her beautiful eyes, she just cant be real
You pinch yourself just to be sure and let out a silent squeal
You have awakened from your comitose state
You are back to the realization that life is not really so great
