A Soft Cry

by

Tiffany Saint

A soft cry
From the cradle to the moon
She's the most beautiful
But she's grown up too soon

From midday birth
To midnight death
"Scars are earned
And lives are blest"

The Ruby (Impatience)

by

Tiffany Saint

She became impatient
She danced with bound hands,
And long brown hair that fell to her waist
She was beautifully made
But in such haist
Her maker forgot the give her
A jewel
The most important jewel
The Ruby
So when she became impatient
On this day when she danced
With her wrists bound
She tripped and fell
Because without the Ruby
She had not a care!
