Blackness

by

Alicia Romo

Standing there in fear,
There is no one near,
You look around,
Nothing is making a sound,
Are you scared?
Into the darkness you stared,
You feel a presence,
You know you can sense it,
You pant,
Next you see a man,
His arms are open,
Inviting you to come,
You realize you are dying,
And that man is God,
You let out a loud sob,
Next you know you are entering gates,
And you realize,
But now you are with the saints!

Colors

by

Alicia Romo

Why do we see colors?
Is it because they are sensory details?
That can't be it...
Are they just there?
Yes...
That's it!
They are there...
Just like we are here

A Lucky Life?

by

Alicia Romo

I wake in the morning,
I sleep in the night,
I live my life,
But only in mysery,
Some say I'm lucky,
Some say not,
But only I agree,
With the ones who think not.

A Boy

by

Alicia Romo

I'm inlove with a boy,
Who you ask?
I'd rather not say,
I love him in both a romance and friendly way,
He is my best friend,
Only I wish we were more,
For only him,
To the skies I would soar.
