My Hero

My hero is not like others.
He's always there for me.
He will never go away from me.
When I sometimes drift away from him,
there he is to call me back.
My hero died for me.
Jesus died for you too.

As you go through life
You'll find its ups and downs.
Just when you thought that you've found your lover,
He turns you down.
Then one day you turn around,
And you find that God has placed someone in your life.
That someone will be there for you,
And will share your good times and bad.
They've always been in your life,
But you have never understood until now.
Now you wish that you would have looked sooner.
That someone has never given up hope,
That one day you would realize that they are the one.
I've learned that there will always be someone to turn you down.

Because Of You

Because of you I now have found
A love I know not of what it was about.
Because of you I can go on
In a life that seems to stop.
Because of you rainy days
Seem to turn sunny.
Because of you I can live my life
In a world full of dreams that become reality.
Because of you there are times
When all I can do is think of you.
Because of you I have wrote this poem
Just for you to know.
Because of you all I can say
Is thank you for loving me.

To my best friend Peter, who has been a really good friend to me no matter what has happened.
