Unfair fights

by

Newton Ranaweera

Three days - three nights
Old man fiercely fights;
Marlin cowardly flights
three days - three nights,
dragging the old manís boat.
"Will power, perseverance
sets him win the game."
Scavengers run him after,
devour that giant catch
and send to the shore
only that skeleton to show.
"Old man fights but lose
The terribly unfair fight.
Many against one;
Unfair! itís not fair."
How many lost their life
In defence of their rights?
