Always Be There

by

Madelaine Parisien

If I sat here and cried all night
Would anyone even care?
Or would they simply tell me
That life isnt always fair

Would they know I cried for you?
Would they know I needed you near?
Or do they even reallise
That I need you to be here?

No one knows how much I miss you
Even though you just left today
I would have given up my life
Just so you could stay

But all I have are the memories
And they’re even starting to fade
And all that I can recall
Are the promises that you made

You promised you’d never forget me
You promised you’d always care
And in case I’m ever in trouble
You promised you’d always be there
