Police State

by

Vigo Onstad

This is a Police State
So much Hate
Can’t wait to escape
This concrete gate

Cameras on the walls
Cameras in the halls
Cameras on the streets
Just because

Views are repressed
Voices are muted
Repression is sum
How much Freedom are we losing?

Governments collapse
Villages are bombed
A dead soldier eyes sees nothing
The war machine churns on

This is a Police State
So much Hate
Peace is only a dream
In our concrete gate

1969 all over again

by

Vigo Onstad

When I was 6
I watched the names roll by
Never knew who they were
I just knew they died
I wasn’t sad
I never cried
It was just the part of war
In 1969

Years have drifted by
Peace was not a dream
But something we could realize
Then the planes came crashing in
Innocent people died
And the names rolled by
Just like 1969.

1969 all over again
Young men die today
Just like they did back then
We kill with technology
But we bury the dead just the same
It’s 1969 all over again.

We get live feeds from imbedded reports
And we wonder why violence
Has become a social disorder
We become a people
Full of hate and rage
If this is our future
We need to turn back the page

1969 all over again
Young men die today
Just like they did back then
We kill with technology
But we bury the dead just the same
It’s 1969 all over again

Justine was a Lesbian

by

Vigo Onstad

She told me that you loved me
And I fell for you like a fool
Your secret agenda
I never knew
Why didn’t I see the signs?
I should have knew better
Her girlfriend sent me a "Dear John" letter

Justine was a lesbian
She breaks boy’s hearts
Just for fun
You’ll never have a chance
She don’t like the meat
She what’s something sweet
Because Justine was a lesbian

She drives a jeep with a rainbow sticker
Her apartment is covered
With Melissa Ehteridge pictures
She’s got Ellen Degenerress on her T.V
Now it makes perfect sense to me.

Justine was a lesbian
She breaking boy’s hearts
Just for fun
You’ll never have a chance
She don’t like the meat
She wants something sweet
Because Justine was a lesbian

Now it makes perfect sense to me
How could I’ve been so wrong?
I was blinded by the fantasy
How can love like this be so wrong?

Justine is just an "Amy" now
I wish I could tell her what she means to me
I don’t have the right equipment
To make her interested in me
I hope she finds a girl
That will mess her up as much as me.

Family Feud

by

Vigo Onstad

You’ve got the rockets
You’ve got the bombs
You’ve got the nukes
Under your lawn

My daddy started it
I’m going to end it
Peace in our time
That got amended

It’s a family feud
We all knew
The subject was revenge
And we’re the ones that will loose

Kiss your sons good bye
Kiss your daughters to
They’re going to pay
For our family feud

Just like the Hatfield’s and the McCoy’s
We’re going to shot you down
With all our "big boy" toys
We’ll level your towns
And your country too
It all in fun
It our family feud

I got your son
I got the other one too
If you give me a minute
I’ll shoot your Grandma too

It’s a family feud
We all knew
The subject was revenge
And we we’re the ones that loose

Kiss your sons good bye
Kiss your daughters too
They’re all going to pay
For my family feud

NYFC/Driven

I live in place
That’s so fu**ing nice
It wasn’t named once
it was named twice.
I never look down
when I walk through the streets
A pile of dead flowers
underneath my feet

New York Fu**ing City (refrain)
New York Fu**ing City

The neon lights
are my sunshine now
I’m going to get rich,
I just don’t know how
I'm a little drunk
A stranger bought my drinks
I’m going to make it
no matter what my friends thinks

New York Fu**ng City (refrain)
New York Fu**ing City

A million people
A million friends
A million ways
To forget the fun might end
A million drinks
A million lights
A million thanks
For the New York Fu**in' life

The west has its warmth
A crappy Hollywood sign
but it's New York Fu**in' City
all the fu**ing time
and I would wait
in a long long line
just to meet a girl
to be a friend of mine

New York Fu**ing City (refrain)
New York Fu**ing City

you can keep your ring
and the sex was shitty
I'm stayin' here in
New York Fu**ing City
I might be driven
to profanity
and I might be driven
to insanity!
I'm driven to living!
I'm stayin' here!
I'm stayin' put!
It'll get real hard but!
I'm living in New York Fu**ing City

NewYork Fu**ing City (refrain)
NewYork Fu**ing City

Care-Less

by

Vigo Onstad

Sitting at the end of the bar
Trying to listen
Trying to pertained
She Miss Perfect
A perfect piece of ass
And I feel my soul slip
A little bit
Like holding a wet glass

I’m care-less
I could care-less
I want to fill the void
I’m shiftless
I’m ruthless
I’m nothing less
Then care-less with your heart

Filling the gaps with alcohol
Filling the air with shit I can’t recall
Blurring the edges
Muffling the noise
Walking home with someone
That I’ll later try to avoid.

Where’s June Cleaver
Where’s my "Mary Ann"
Where’s my "soul mate"
Because my soul can use a hand
