Snow

by

Teri Muszak

Snow is white and very cold,
it is very easy to mould.
In the evening it is bright,
because the snow acts like a light.
As the snow started to melt,
I can't explain the way I felt.
Tears started to fall down my eye,
It was hard to say good-bye.
Now summer is hear,
It is not so cold on my ear.

Violent Squall

by

Teri Muszak

The raging outside is hungry for meat,
A crashing of thunder, a lightning streak.
No sign of remorse for the broken or thin,
Letting loose like a war freed from within.

I take shelter below in my quilted down cave,
As darkness surrounds I attempt to be brave.
But the great roar is deafening on the tin roof,
Like one hundred horses on thundering hoof.

I grow tiresome from that monotonus beat,
To fantasy land without counting sheep.
Lovely that sound of the beating war drum,
Awaiting the future of years to come.

I sleep in my peace 'til awake with a start,
Content with only the beat of my heart.
The rain now is done, the water did sow,
And up in the sky behold, a rainbow.

below

by

Teri Muszak

Is there anyway out?
Is the hole too deep?
The waters are murky.
I cannot sleep.

Lonesome and fragile.
A liar, a thief.
There is no proof.
Set me free.

I'm pleading for mercy.
Bless my soul.
I've laid down my hope.
I'm paying my toll.

My head is below.
My hands in a tie.
I feel so dirty.
I can't if I try.

A feeling of hurt.
My life's like a soap.
I've lost all feeling.
I have no hope

Angels

by

Teri Muszak

Do I believe in Angels?
That walk along the land?
Halo’s held above their heads
While clutching at our hand.

Voices that surround us
Might echo from our mind
Someday I will see existence
I promise me this find

I must see that one rare light
Cloak often lost to few
To name an angel on this earth
That angel must be you

Clarity is not all need
Needed is but one
Grant me only this one wish
Angel, I am done
