In This Dream

by

Erica Morrison

In this dream I saw you
You were walking away
And I couldn't get to you
I would scream
But you couldn't hear me
In this dream I saw you
You were smoking
And you were high
I ran to you
But you weren't there
In this dream I saw you
You were drinking
And you were drunk
I tried to shake you
But I went right through you
In this dream I saw you
You were taking pills
And you fell
I tried to catch you
But I couldn't touch you
In this dream I saw you
You were dead
And I couldn't get to you
And I realized
I wasn't dreaming

I will always cherish you!

by

Erica Morrison

When the day reaches its end. After the sun goes down.
I lie alone listening to my lonely heart pound.
It is calling out for you to come to me tonight.
I'm felling so alone without you here by my side.
My friends say to move on, to let your memory go.
The love you gave me that lights my life fills my soul.
I pray hard for you and ask God for your soul to keep.
Whispering your name, I close my eyes and fall asleep.
Through the darkness of my mind, you take me by the hand.
You hold me so close in a blissful fantasy land.
With a tender kiss you say,
"Good morning"
just before dawn.
Reminding me that you're always with me, then your gone.
Such tender moments a heavenly dream I pray comes true.
It fells so real that when I wake up I reach for you.
Eventhough you're not here to wipe away the tears off my face.
I will always cherish you for the rest of my days.

My Heart Is Yours.

by

Erica Morrison

Ever since we shared our first kiss.
I have been floating in a dream of sweet bliss.
Those lips that wrap your sweet smile.
Your tender kisses that still drive me wild.
Your soft touch such a work of art.
It gives me joy that echoes throughout my heart.
The caring soul that's' inside you
gets me through all those days colored so deep blue.
A love so strong beautiful as a flower
giving me memories I will cherish forever.
Time and time again you have been there for me.
Truly my best friend who's love set me free.

I am Sorry

by

Erica Morrison

A boy tells a girl he likes her
She seems to care
A boy makes a mistake
One he hopes she will never share
A boy came home from away
But never told her where he lay
A boy burned the bridge
A boy hurt someone he cared for
A boy was crushed when he read the email
A boy wanted to run and hide and not face facts
A boy hid for a year thinking about his fate
A boy became a man
A man is so very sorry
