I Should Have Told You

by

Paul Jared Miller

I loved you so much, I don't know what went wrong,
One minute you were there, the next you were gone.
I tried so very hard to make you see the real me, but I guess I didn't try very hard as you see.
You were the best I had, the one I wanted to see.
The one that I missed every day of the week.
I missed you so much, I cared allot too,
I just wish you knew how much I miss you.
I used to think of you always being there,
but the day that you left, I felt so bare.
I wanted to have you for all of my life,
I wanted to hold you each and every night,
I wanted to miss you when you were away, knowing you would be there the very next day.
I love you so much and it hurts to see, that it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to be,
I have never loved someone as much as you, and that day that you told me that it wouldn't do,
I cried for about an hour or two because I knew how much I would really miss you.
You were so great, you were the best, I just want to hold you in my arms again.
I miss you so much, I miss you so deeply,
I just want to have that wonderful feeling, that at one time you gave me when I loved you so true.
I hope that one day I have you again, I hope that I can hold your hand to the end.
You were so great and I know you don't see, how wonderful of a person that you really can be.
