I Miss You

by

Melissa Melvin

Daddy, I miss you so much
More and more everyday
I try so hard not to get upset
But it seems there is no way
Every time I think of you
It makes me want to cry
And I can't help but think
WHY?
Why is God putting me through this
I don't know how much more I can take
It hurts more each time I think of you
And pretty soon, I'm gonna break
I should be able to think of you
Like normal people do
Without getting upset
But I can't help but miss you
I put on a show for people
And pretend like I'm fine
But I need you here to help me
Get through these hard times.

You

by

Melissa Melvin

You have been
All I've ever dreamed of
You will be
All I want and more
You will see
I'm the girl you need to be with
You will know
I'm the girl you've waited for
Now this
Might all come by surprise
But please
I know this must be true
Cause you
Are all I ever think of
My dreams
Come true because of you
You
Are the reason I'm still living
Cause you
You brighten up my day
So please
Tell me that you want me
And this
Is all you need to say
Cause you
Are the one I need to be with
To spend
The rest of life with you
Without you
I know I would be nothing
Cause I know
That I'm in love with you!

Life

by

Melissa Melvin

Just when I thought
That my life was going right
Things get bad
And I end up in a fight
I try to be nice
But no matter how nice I be
Everything I seem to say
Gets turned around on me
I thought before that my life was bad
And it couldn't get no worse
Bud now it's more bad than it ever was
And I think I might just burst
I try to pretend like I'm fine
And there isn't anything bothering me
But there's so many people that know me too well
That when there's someyhing wrong, they see
Too much in my life has gone wrong for me
To try and make things better
So I'll just keep all my problems
Enclosed in this letter.
