Echo

Come to me in the silence of the night
Come to me in the sleeping silence of a dream
Come with soft rounded cheeks
and eyes as bright as sunlight on a stream
O memory, hope, love of finished years.

O dream, how sweet, too bitter sweet
Whose wakening should have been in paradise
Where souls brimfull of love abide and meet
Where thristing longful eyes watch the slow door
That opening, letting in, lets out no more.

Yet come to me in dreams , that I may live
My very life again, though cold and dead
Comeback to me in dreams, That I may give
Pulse for Pulse, Breath for Breath
Speak Low, Lean Low
As Long ago, my Love how long ago...

Cloud of Dreams

by

Jay M. Maravilla

An eerie sound of silence,
Alone in the void of loneliness,
Out where I alone knows ,
There you stand in my midst.

Started to dream and think about you,
As I lay myself to slumber,
Then suddenly, I got up,
Wishing I could see you.

Still asking questions to my self,
How to say these things I feel,
For when I am with you,
I feel lost and shallow.

Still thinking of you,
Still asking how to speak words,
Out in the barren land of dreams,
Hoping, You and I, in the clouds together...

Friends

Friends are cool
Some of them are good but some are bad
They don’t let us become a fool
They make us happy when we’re sad
They're always there to comfort you.
Friends are always gives us encouragement
We find them without a clue
Even if we’re feeling a torment
They make us still faithful during grief
And change our feelings on something
And make our sadness brief
They give us anything or even everything
Things change and gain more friends
And give us more trends.
