JUST YOUR GAZE

by

Manogna

Is that a song?
Is that a music?
Or a rhythm of hapless heart beat?
It feels so cold and it feels too dark,
It lacks the notes of love and warmth,
Sounds like a tune of solitude,
Singing its pain and tears,
Bleeding its pitch to reach those clouds,
Pierce through heavens,
Touch His feet,
Play in His ears,
Then I'll cut its throat,
To deprive it of its voice and life,
It'll grow mute,
But, O Jesus, just feel its throb for once,
Rest Your sight of pity on it,
Show Your touch of love,
All my heart thrives for is just Your gaze.
