Raindrop

by

Christine Magson

If I was a raindrop that fell from the sky
Or even a bird flying way up high
Through the clouds spread nation wide
I would see what was happening through time and tide

Building roads, Chopping down trees
I would see the world fall to it's knees
Knowbody asks or wonders why
So it is only the raindrop that is able to cry

People think they have the solution
But all they do is cause pollution
It wasn't as bad in the past
We knew our planet was meant to last

But now we've made this Earth a place to hate
Hungry mouths against empty plates
Exhaust gasses fill the sky
And it is only the raindrop that is able to cry.

Wonder

by

Christine Magson

I sit and wonder what you dream about
In your slumber of the deep night
Slight snores filter through your restful breathing
The air is filled with love for you my sleeping beauty
As I sit and wonder what you dream about
A slight tilt of the lips sugests a smile
Your breath penetrates the silenced air
What a wonderful sound
As I sit and wonder what you dream about.

A Woman Scorned

by

Christine Magson

I stir in the morning
And sence you are there
I open my eyes
And to my despair

You have placed a pillow
Were you should be
The wardrobe is open
And appears to be empty

I check in the draws
There is not even a sock
What bloody time is it
And were is the clock

I walk in the lounge
And what do I see
Absolutly nothing
This can't be

I enter the kitchen
I need my caffeine
Where the hell is my coffee
(I am going to scream)

I open the cupboard
No food to be seen
You CREEP!!!
You have not even left me a bean

You took all the CD's
When half were mine
You don't even like
Captain Sensible and Divine

You insisted on a dog
When I wanted a cat
You left the dog
But took his food (you stinking rat)

I have got nothing to fling
Not even a cup
I can't even feed
Your bloody mutt!

I hear the doorbell
(So you have left me that)
It is someone enquiring
Agggghhhhh about a lost cat

I know what I will do
I will call my mother at home
(Oh what a surprise)
You have taken the phone

I have an idea
And run for my purse
The day you met me
You will cirtainly curse

With American Express
And Visa card too
I will shop till I drop
And send the bill to YOU!!!
