The Earth was a furnace with steel teeth;
It collapsed into a metal box,
locking God's children in its belly.

Iron walls eclipsed the sky;
streams of fire moved like
flaming tentacles that whipped
the tops of houses and trees.

Everything was ablaze;
We were energy.
