When you want to leave, you go

i couldn't stop you if i wanted

but i need for you to know:

my soul will now be haunted.

You'll always remain in my mind

and always in my heart

i hate to feel so left behind

it's so hard to restart

i never thought i'd find

another joy in life

i really wish i hadn't

been given this strife

i can't ever forget you

i hope i never will

and though you're gone, please do

know i love you still
