The War Between People

by

Alicia Lucero

Remember what happened in the past?
This is the one war that will always last.
The different races will never blend.
The effect is never going to end.
The Jews were living peacefully at home,
And Hitler began to hunt and kill 'em.
Hilter stared the Second World War.
He opened a new selective door.
Also, he created a master race,
Based on blond hair, blue eyes, a white face.

If it's not one then it's another.
Why can't we all be friends?
It seems as though we are near an end,
But things just start right up again.

It is around us each and every day.
We all choose to see this in work or play.
World of many colors fighting: bloodshed.
A war that will never be limited.
A war that will not be won for me or you.
Martin Luther King Junior has his view;
To stop the prejudices that were all afloat,
And the right of equality for all.
He was murdered by a jealous rival.

If it's not one then it's another.
Why can't we all be friends?
It seems as though we are near an end,
But things just start right up again.
