the tears of the broken

by

Amanda Nycholle Loisel

There are no cries of joy that spill from her frowning lips as she is getting shut down yet again at the dinner table. There are tears that say that she is indeed in pain, instead there is only a forced smile that no one seems to notice. There are no laughs except that of the right hand master the one that she fears most in this world. Does she dare defy them? No, she is too afraid to even say what has been bothering her after all these years of hiding and always hiding the emotion that is ready to explode. There is no place for her to go to spill those tears waiting on the very tip of her lashes.

let go

by

Amanda Nycholle Loisel

There are so many ways to let go
There are so many places I cannot go
In fear to spill all the hate
Held onto for many years
It is time to LET Go
Forgive and forget
At least that is what I was
Told to do

love

by

Amanda Nycholle Loisel

For those that think that love is nothing
For those that would rather hate
here is my decree
let love in
Let the Lord in
Step away from sin
And stop living the life of gentiles
Love is like water we can not live without it
Though some have tried

then and now

by

Amanda Nycholle Loisel

Emotions raging through her like fire from a volcano
Ready to erupt and blow over any moment
That was then
Now the pain is gone and waters calm
There is now love and gentle eyes
instead of eyes swollen shut with pain
Her heart is now melted instead of a solid rock
For someone has finally reached through and touched her heart
There is no other that can see her love so strong but a face that glows
