Confusing Disire

by

David Llewellyn

The endless disire to hold you
torments my understanding of you.
My mind in rage confronts both truths & lies.
A tear ,seals like a hallmark the paper on which i write.
Though i cry not because I am alone,
but because I feel alone .
Outcast from birth I have no will to fight,
no will to succed or to please,
only to remain.
It is this instinct that drives me towards light,
It is this instinct that drys my tears this night.
I will surmount.
It is then and only then can i no longer feel alone ,
with no reason or disire to invarialby moan.
I must surmount,
must I ?
