An autumn moon of tepid gold
Peeks into my window at dawn.
Morning dew still timid from
Summer's early morning warmth.
I awake the day of season's change
To Fall in the air.
Another period of hope and joy,
To wonder less and love you more.
We met as tulips were in full bloom.
Where trees were lush and green.
Now as the air chills and flowers kneel,
May we runble together beneath a purple moon.
