the wound that would not heal

by

Darren Jackson

i'm hung drawn and quarted. at the battle in my head. my body lay bear waiting for the rain of saliver to wash the memory of the war. the endless struggle of time. time used for me to lay open in the dirt as on lookers cheer at my demise.

shying away like a shadow from a glow i'm kept with the throught.

my body lay broken. in the battle inside my head.
i lay in bits, swept up by the road sweeper. wraped in shadeless rags.i'm cruched by the broom and scratched.
the crow fly's away and laughs ant my
capture.

shying away like a shadow from a glow i'm kept with the throught.

i am the vermin the infection and the death
i am the killed the touchered and the dead

festering evermore...
the wound that would not heal
