Nighttime

The waves are crashing louldy against the rocks.
I see little sand crabs scutling
away from the booming tide. Sea gulls
are scavenging greedily
over olb bread crumbs left by the
visitors earlier that day.
The sky has turned a dark shade of blue.
The kind of blue ou see on one's tounge when
they've eaten too many
blueberries.
The stars begin to appear. Flickering and twingling like lights on a Christmas
tree. The moon is coming out slowly.
After hiding from the sun all day.
It goes to take its customary spot
in the sky. Joining with the stars to complete the
picturesque scene that is nighttime.
