Morning and Evening

by

Philip Hinton

The abyss
of fear
down deep
feeds
grows within
on confusion
in the
wandering self righteousness
streets of many

sleepwalked
outside
nowhere
day joined
by night
a menacing
dark cloud

young watchers
of letters
look
realise
bullets
knives
don't

love
beautiful
love
pulls
what is
dead about
today
into the
wonderful
morning
of now

you're free
to become
another life
so be
sweet lovers

Lady Oblivion Walks the Streets

by

Philip Hinton

dignity
left
on the
pavement
dropped
picking up
dog-ends
self control
gone
the way
of crotch
wet
sweatpants
smacked out
grin

lady oblivion
walks
the streets

Stream - Trapped in a Bubble

by

Philip Hinton

solitudes
creation
loneliness
enforced
village life
projected
from mind
fed secondhand
knowledge
experiences
swelling
to a room
kingdom
of self
imaginations
kingdom
visions
fantasies
reality
refracted
absent lines
communications
touch
sight
taste
not live
becoming
dependant
reliant
protection
comfort
air
apathetically
toxic
stifling
ideas
aspirations
new doors
openings
walked
guarded
situations
reactions
appropriate
changing
colours
shapes
lacking
empathy
cold
hard
numb
retreated
watcher
seeing
all
never
there
little white
pills
powders
strong
fought
for control
unable to
over-ride
i
alcohol
weakened
re-enforced
next day
aging
growing
brings
events
emotions
feelings
aware of
not felt
scared
letting go
giving up
to them
scared
losing
control
i
decent into
madness
tears
laughter
violence
scared
not able
to return
stop
time
wears down
as maturity
teaches
warm embraces
dissolve
eyes
pierce
reality
bites
sensations
senses
awaken
sometimes
too much
run
back
security
inside
calm
until frustrations
push out
anew
