A Man's Life

by

Tim Hinson

As you sit at your computers
do you think of the world?
and do you wonder what its like?
without the glow of the phosphorous screen
Your office job
Your office life
Is it so important?
And does it wear you out?

It tears my heart, it tears my heart
Those caged animals who cannot be free
Bounded by their cowardice, but after all
what do they have to lose?
what do they have to lose?

The monotony, the bordem,
the same, same thing and then...
you start, you start to wonder
is this all that it is?
and am i really special?
or am i the same as all the rest?
My life shurely will start soon,
this situation is not fair.

It tears my heart, it tears my heart
Those caged animals who cannot be free
Bounded by their cowardice, but after all
what do they have to lose?
what do they have to lose?

Someday you will rise up
but will it be too late?
Is there time enought for it to be wasted?
Tommorow is better, you inevitably say
For surley tommorow, it is your lucky day
You never thought you'd say it but here it is:
Do not aim too high, for shurley it will frustrate you
when you Come to die

It tears my heart, it tears my heart
Those caged animals who cannot be free
Bounded by their cowardice, but after all
what do they have to lose?
what do they have to lose?

Here we are and it is tommorow
I decided to do something in the end
And here I am recounting at the Pearly Gates
My story it was long and drawmn out, when
St Peter passed his judgement, he said you have suffered enough
Here is your life back dont waste it this time
The question you ask:
Am I in hell or heaven?..well that is for you to decide
That is for you to decide
