The Bridge

by

Night Ends.

Through gossamer threads of consiousness I slip from a troubled dream into
the comforting reality of the twilight in my room.

The essence of the dream still lingers...the shadow of a twisted menace...a
foggy wisp of an undefinable dread.

The softness of the dawn plays in the haze of my mind, and I seem to float
lightly in a soothing warmth which washes off the gloom.

Then, unbidden, like a distant bell calling me to do...to think...to be, the
duties of the day begin their relentless parade through my head.

Day Begins.
