Summer Rose

by

Bryan J. Hart

A rose grows in beauty as it's petals unfold...
as we shall learn when this story is told.

The rays of the sun like golden hair fall...
giving it strengh to stand up tall.

As seasons change this rose will fade...
losing it's beauty to dark winter's shade.

Only a covering is this blanket of snow...
resting the beauty of which still shall grow.

As spring appears and the rose returns...
unfolding the beauty of which we have learned.

Never to be forgotten this God given rose...
and all of it's charm of which it beholds.

Online Midnight Hour

by

Bryan J. Hart

Far, far away in a distant place...
words are sent through timeless space.

Where I hear no voice or see a face...
these are thoughts that I embrace.

For those are words which can soothe...
many ever changing moods.

I thank my friend who sends their thoughts...
which are always kept and never lost.

When I need these words of power...
all I do is turn to this enchanting hour.

Searching

by

Bryan J. Hart

Life is like a circle...
of which I live within.

Bound by emotions...
to those I shall not give in.

My heart forever chained ...
to this circle of plight.

Only searching for a reason...
to end this zealous fight.

If the day should come and my answer granted...
only then my heart will be no longer disenchanted.

40th Birthday

by

Bryan J. Hart

Once a year that special day arrives...
bringing yet a dear surprise.

On this day with your smile bright...
your eyes shall gleam in the evenings light.

With Midnight's stroke the fear is gone ...
for now your thoughts are of fourty one.

Fallen Angel

by

Bryan J. Hart

Oh heavenly angel who has fallen with grace...
Why have you come to this mortal place?

Heavenly angel with the tears upon your face...
Have you been God sent for my soul to embrace?

My fallen angel come walk with me ...
For now I have shed tears for thee.

Let our souls unite and mend with me ...
For this is the way God wills it to be.

Oh heavenly angel with your new found strength...
you shall soar and let it be high upon Heaven's door.

As you return to your heavenly place...
There shall be no more tears upon my face.
