Good-Bye

by

Amy Hardin

Death is a challenge that is hard to overcome,
I see it each day yet it still leaves me stunned.
This is how I felt when you died,
It happened in December, near Christmas time.
I was so hurt I barely could cry.
The first question I asked myself was simply why?
I didn't even have a chance to kiss you or tell you good-bye.
I'll try to move on now,
that's what you would want me to do,
Live life ot the fullest just like you.
I'll be brave and face each challenge like I'm facing this one.
I only have one more thing to say and then I will be done,
Grandpa, I love you always,
Good-bye!
