DON'T LET THE SUN SET

by

Edward Hamblin

As I look in the mirror
I ponder that which I see
And ask, is it him or is it me?

Do these eyes see what is real?
Or do they deceive?
And these ears, what they hear,
Do they believe?

These lips massaged by the tongue
Do they speak truth or lies?
The answer is in the mirror
For when you look close you'll realize
That is your reflection
For all to see
So build a good image,
For life now and eternity.

WHISPERING WIND

by

Edward Hamblin

In the silence 'neath the trees
when night light glows
you can hear the passing of time

In the moment of silence there
you will hear your name
whispered in the wind

In that place where you stand
The call is loud and clear
"Come", it says to your heart

The wind whispers
The heart hears
And time is no more

In the silence 'neath the trees
When night light glows
You can hear the wind

Whispering, whispering, whispering,
Come home....
