we are slowly coming to a halt
and victoria knows what i've been up to
i can beat that record
four hours isn't long
i know what you've done wrong.

i tried to hide in the shade of the shaker
tried to die in your hands
look where i've gone
look what you've done
i tried to escape and you found out.

and now,
you're in love
what a grand thing to say
do you know that the sky is not blue
when you're not looking at it
it's grey
yes, grey!

And now i've gone, and victoria knows where
at least someone cares
or should i say something
in Nice we only get stares.
