Words Of Wisdom

by

Shannon T. Hackworth

Reading words of wisdom from the ancient ways,
These thoughts and findings fill my days.
Songs and chants, and rhyming words,
The earth, the air, the singing birds.
Itís all in one, donít you see,
This goes for all, even you and me.
Science is there and gives us sight,
But never as clear as the tree of life.
The spiral of life you must understand,
Itís the creator of all including man.
Donít despair if your confused,
The path of life is yours to choose.
Hold true to your heart & open your mind,
You wonít believe what you may find.
Hopes and dreams,
can all be real,
Be true to your soul,
now you can feel.
You feel open and clear,
Cause now your awake,
The western culture has made a big mistake.
So reading words of wisdom from the ancient ways,
Thatís how I become to change my days.
These words of rhyme I say to thee
Merry Part and Blessed Be.

Though Miles Away

by

Shannon T. Hackworth

I feel the pain each and every day,
Though we are many miles away.
Our hearts ache together, this I know,
Our souls feel lost, not knowing where to go.
My love for you grows deeper everyday,
Though we are many miles away.
I miss your soft touch, and that tender kiss,
Itís funny all the little things that we miss.
The look in your eyes, when I make you smile.
Thatís a look I havenít seen in a while.
I need that look each and every day,
Though we are many miles away.
Iíll be home soon and youíll be in my arms.
Iíll surround you with love and protect you from harm.
You are my dream come true,
My princess of thieves,
I call you this and you know itís true,
Youíve stolen my heart it now belongs to you.
Weíve made it through tough times,
In which weíve made it though Okay
Weíll do it again,
Though we are many miles away.
Our Love is genuine, true and strong.
When we look in each others eyes,
Itís like angels singing a song.
Pure love is in the air we feel it each day.
Though we are many miles away.
We need the old us back,
The way it use to be,
When I always touched you and you always touched me.
I love you baby in each and every way,
Though we are many miles away.

Hello Me

by

Shannon T. Hackworth

Your thoughts are loud,
Though your mind is asleep.
The temptation is there,
Are you in to deep?
For understanding the mind,
is a complex thought.
Understanding yourself is something,
That can not be taught.
You can see with your eyes.
You can hear with your ears.
But your mind shows your,
wants, needs and fears.
Confusion is also there,
And to your mind it's just a game.
For you to figure out,
Before you go insane.
Illusions of the truth,
Like thoughts from the soul.
I will introduce me to me.
For the fear must go.
Though harsh and heavy,
It's me I need to know.
For my spirit to survive,
and my heart to grow.

What Did I Hear

by

Shannon T. Hackworth

You wish your mind was more centered and clear,
Showing the way from your mindless fear.
Holding on to time, as a last chance in love,
Hoping to hear from heaven above.
When out of the sky you hear a sound,
As your fear leaves...., you hit the ground.
A voice from above speaks with a soft voice.
Be true to your heart it's your only choice.
An angel from above has spoken the word,
As you sit and ponder if thatís what you heard.
You feel the trouble lift from your soul,
And the love in your heart begins to grow.
Your wish that you wished has now came true,
For thereís one you need to love.
and that one is. YOU....

LISTEN

by

Shannon T. Hackworth

The northern skies, multicolored haze,
Southern nights, a starry gaze.
The sparkle in your eyes,
Your soft tender touch.
These are thingís, I crave so much.
Orchards of peach treeís now you see,
A sunny day picked for you and me.
I hear your name in a soft voice,
Listen to the wind itís saying Joyce.
Feel your spirit, as it comfortably waits,
For mine to take hold, with a caring embrace.
Space between us may be miles apart,
I know we would be friends right from the start.
